Our Cadillac LaSalles: Ava, Flora and Ella.
Our father bought his first Cadillac – LaSalle in 1954. That car was a 1929 4-passenger Phaeton, one of 449 ever built and one of 175 made for export. Sixty-two years later, that car, Flora, is still in the family and is the magnificent red soft-top you see above. She can be seen regularly travelling around the Blue Mountains carrying happy couples on their special day.
Our father bought his second vintage Cadillac in 1964 and thus the scene was set for my brother’s and my love of these classic vehicles from the Roaring ’20s.
In 2003 we started searching for vintage Cadillac – LaSalles from the late 1920s that would be suitable for restoration and appealing to wedding couples. Our goal was to establish a wedding and hire car business that would complement the scenery and ambience of the Blue Mountains and provide the ultimate entrance to any wedding ceremony.
Our current fleet consists of Flora, our 1929 Cadillac – LaSalle 4-passenger Phaeton, Ava, our 1928 Cadillac – LaSalle 5-passenger Coupe and Ella, our 1929 Cadillac – LaSalle 5-passenger Convertible Landau Cabriolet.
